A : This is fine with us. We separate each item and give you a cash valuation for each item

| Q : Does the metal have to be hallmarked ? |
A : No. We will test all items you send to us to establish the precise metal content for you and so the items do not need to be hallmarked. However, a lower price may be offered for unhallmarked gold.

| Q : What if I do not have accurate weighing scales ? |
A : Our specialist jewellery scales are calibrated regularly and carry a certificate of accuracy. When we receive your items we carefully weigh them to the nearest 0.1 gram to ensure we give the best market price.

| Q : If my gold weight does not agree with yours, what happens ? |
A : We have specialists gold scales and if there are discrepancies on weight we notify you immediately.

| Q : Are my items of jewellery insured through the postage service ? |
A : All parcels sent through Royal Mail Special Delivery can be fully insured to a maximum of £2500.00. Your parcel can be tracked via the internet with a signature obtained upon delivery, this service is very safe and secure. To date we have dealt with thousands of satisfied customers and no parcel has ever gone astray via Royal Mail Special Delivery. This is the most trusted method we advise all our customers to use.

| Q : When will I know you have received my parcel ? |
A : We will call or email you on the day that we receive your parcel to confirm receipt. Whilst in transit your parcel can be tracked via the internet. Go to track your parcel if you wish to track the progress of your parcel.

| Q : How promptly will I receive payment ? |
A : Once your scrap has been valued payment will be made within 24 hours by cheque, bank transfer or PayPal. Please specify on your claims form how you would like us to pay you.

| Q : What about gemstones in my jewellery ? |
A : We do not buy gemstones. Any gemstones within items of gold/ silver or platinum received will not be returned.

| Q : What if I change my mind ? |
A : No problem, once you have received your cheque you will be able to reject the offer by sending the cheque back to us. If you reject the offer we will return all items to you via Royal Mail special delivery free of charge.

| Q : What happens if the market value of my gold changes after I've sent in my items? |
A : Our prices are based on the London Gold Fix price for gold which is set at 10:00am daily. Our valuation for your jewellery will be based on the London Gold Fix price applicable on the day that we receive your items. We will then send you payment within 24 hours.
